The story of the Prophet Seth

Seth

Seth (AS) was the second prophet after Adam (AS), one of the sons of Adam and Eve and the younger brother of Abel and Cain. His birth was a gift from God to Adam in exchange for the death of his son Abel. Hence, he is known as God's gift. Seth was Adam's successor and prophet after him, he had many heavenly scrolls, and he had

four sons, his first son's name was Enosh.

One of the events in his days was the birth of Seth, which was one hundred and twenty years after Adam, and five years after the killing of Abel, and it was said that he was born alone without a twin. Interpretation of Sheth : God's gift, meaning that he is the successor of Abel, and he is Adam's guardian. Ibn Abbas said: He had a twin with him. When Adam was about to die, he entrusted Sheth to him and taught him the hours of night and day, and the worship of solitude in each of them, and informed him of the flood, and the leadership after Adam became his, and Allah revealed fifty newspapers to him. Ibn al-Athir said elsewhere in his book: It is mentioned that Adam was sick for eleven days, and he made a will to his son Sheth and ordered him to hide his knowledge from Cain and his children because he killed Abel out of envy when Adam assigned him knowledge, so Sheth and his children hid their knowledge, and Cain and his children did not have any knowledge to benefit from it.

He stayed in Makkah on pilgrimage until he died, and that he collected what was revealed to him and his father Adam from the newspapers and did what was in them, and that he built the Ka'ba with stones and mud. As for the predecessors of our scholars, they said: The dome that Allah made for Adam in the place of the house did not remain until the days of the flood, so Allah lifted it when He sent the flood. It is said that when Shetha fell ill, he willed his son Anush and died and was buried with his parents in the cave of Abu Qubais, and his birth was two hundred and thirty-five years from the age of Adam, and it was said otherwise, which has been mentioned, and his death was nine hundred and twelve years. After the death of his father, Anush bin Sheth took charge of the king's policy and the management of those under him.

It is narrated from the Prophet (peace be upon him) that he said: “Four are Syriacs: Adam, Sheth, Enoch - who is Idris - and Noah. It is narrated that the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: “Four Syriacs: Adam, Sheth, Enoch - who is Idris - and Noah.”[4] Sheth (peace be upon him) collected the newspapers that were revealed to him and worked with all of them, and he stayed in Mecca to make pilgrimages and Umrah, and it is said that Sheth (peace be upon him) was the one who built the Holy Kaaba from stones and mud.

The corruption of the people of Sheth (peace be upon him)
It is narrated from Ibn Abbas (may Allah bless them both) that when he recited the saying -Alaihiya-: [6] Ibn Abbas (peace be upon him) was quoted as saying that when he recited the verse: “And do not put on the make-up of the first jahiliyyah,”[6] he interpreted the make-up of the first jahiliyyah as what was in the days of Sheth - peace be upon him - and his brother Qabil; the people of one of them lived in the mountains, and the people of the other lived on the plain; Iblis appeared to one of the men of Qabil in the form of a boy and gave them a sound they had never heard before; it was the sound of music; they also took a festival for them to gather, and women used to put on make-up to lure the men to fall into the abomination of adultery. [7][8]

He went to his people and told them what he had seen, so they turned to them and did the same as the people did, and the forbidden things spread among them, and this incident was the makeup of the first jahiliyyah,[8] and it is mentioned in the books of biographies and histories that Sheth - peace be upon him - had gathered his people, and (peace be upon him) had gathered his people, and stood up in a sermon warning them against Iblis and his whispers, and recommending them to stay away from Cain's people and associate with them, but they did not listen to all that until they fell into abominations and abominations. [9]

After that, fighting took place between Sheth - peace be upon him - and Cain, and when Cain was in the hands of Sheth - peace be upon him - he ordered the angels to take him handcuffed to the eye of the sun, and he died an infidel, and his descendants after him became slaves and nodded to Sheth - peace be upon him - and his people,[10] Perhaps these narratives - although some of them are attributed to the people of the Book - which we should stop without believing or disbelieving except what corresponds to the Shari'ah.

The death of Sheth, peace be upon him
It is said that Sheth - peace be upon him - continued to populate the earth and enforce the limits on the corrupt until his death, and bequeathed his son Anush after him, and there were various opinions about the place of his burial; it was said in India, and it was said in Mecca, in the cave where his parents Adam and Eve were buried;[11] in Mount Abi Qubais.[12]
